Sponsorship Program

Tree of Life has a commitment to being a business with a conscience. It is a key part of our philosophy to give something back to the communities which support us.
Our main charitable work is helping the poor children of India through the Touch of Love sponsorship program. This program provides education, food, clean water and access to medical and dental facilities for children living in dire poverty.
We currently sponsor 110 children in different areas of Maharasthra State, India. In the Rahuri High School. 36 of our 39 sponsor students (mostly orphans and all from severely disadvantaged families) passed the college entrance exam and have gone on to Junior College on a free government scholarship. The remaining 3 will re-sit the exam and are being provided with extra tuition to ensure they too graduate. This graduation means we can start over again with 39 new sponsor children. Tree of Life has just agreed to assist 8 Haitian orphans who have been accepted into the orphanage sponsored by A Touch of Love in the Dominican Republic. If possible the orphanage hopes to be able to add 2 or 3 more children; the need is overwhelming. Wayne and Vicki Galler of A Touch of Love visit this orphanage at least twice a year to make sure all is proceeding satisfactorily.
